Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

Borussia Dortmund could be boosted by the return of Donyell Malen and Marcel Sabitzer for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final at home against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

While Malen has missed Dortmund's last three games with a thigh problem, Sabitzer has been suffering with illness and watched on as an unused substitute in Dortmund's heavy 4-1 Bundesliga loss at RB Leipzig last weekend.

However, both players have taken part in training this week, as has Mats Hummels who was forced off against Leipzig with a cut to his shin, and head coach Edin Terzic has confirmed the BVB trio are likely to be fit for Wednesday's match.

Sebastien Haller has also been spotted in light training this week, but his ankle issue will be assessed ahead of kickoff, while Ramy Bensebaini (knee) and Julien Duranville (muscle) are both ruled out.

Ian Maatsen and Emre Can served a domestic suspension last weekend, but both players are in contention to return to the first XI, with the former hoping to start at left-back and the latter - along with Sabitzer - pushing to replace either Salih Ozcan or Felix Nmecha in centre-midfield.

Karim Adeyemi only played the first 45 minutes against Leipzig, but he is fit to continue on the right side of attack, with Jadon Sancho - who scored last weekend - set to operate on the opposite flank as top scorer Niclas Fullkrug leads the line and looks to add to his 14 goals in all competitions.

Borussia Dortmund possible starting lineup: Kobel; Ryerson, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Maatsen; Sabitzer, Can; Adeyemi, Brandt, Sancho; Fullkrug
