Jurgen Klopp: 'Borussia Dortmund slump my fault'

Jurgen Klopp accepts the blame for how his Borussia Dortmund team have been playing following their third loss in the last four matches.

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has taken full responsibility for his team's disappointing run of form recently.

Dortmund slumped to a 1-0 home defeat to Hamburger SV on Saturday as Klopp's side slipped to 13th in the Bundesliga standings following a third loss from their last four outings.

"The shoe I put on me. I am responsible for the preparation and adjustment of the guys," he told reporters. "Our problem is we can't get a stable shape or hold onto the ball.

"There are explanations for our problems. We have played far too little football.

"We need to now endure every criticism that comes and some guys need to assess their performance."

Last season's runners-up travel to Cologne on October 18 following the international break.
