Borussia Dortmund hammer Eintracht Frankfurt

Dortmund hammer Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.

Borussia Dortmund have thumped Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's form continuing with a brace.

Frankfurt started well and earned an early corner, but Lukasz Piszczek managed to break with his cross eventually deflected to Sebastian Kehl, who blazed over.

They did not have to wait much longer to take the lead, however. Henrikh Mkhitaryan won the ball high up the pitch before sending Aubameyang away with an inch-perfect pass for a good finish.

After 20 minutes it was 2-0 to BVB, but this one was not so pretty. A corner from Nuri Sahin was partially kept out by Kevin Trapp, but fell to Aubameyang to fire in his second from close range.

Frankfurt came close to pulling one back on the half-hour mark, but Constant Djakpa's powerful free kick went not far over, before Sokratis Papastathopoulos blocked well from just in front of his own goal to ensure the lead at the break.

Immediately after the restart Lewandowski was fouled by Djakpa in the box, before he dusted himself down to score his 14th goal of the season from the spot.

Aubameyang should have had his hat-trick on the hour mark, but after being found by Piszczek he could only shoot low into the arms of Trapp.

Milos Jojic, on for Mkhitaryan, wasted no time in getting on the scoresheet on his debut as he tapped in a rebound after Grosskreutz's shot was blocked.
