Eddie Howe: 'Bournemouth gameplan must change without Callum Wilson'

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe admits that the Cherries' gameplan will have to change now that Callum Wilson is out for at least six months.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has admitted that the Cherries will be "a different team" without striker Callum Wilson.

Wilson is likely to miss most and perhaps all of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in last week's defeat at Stoke City.

He had scored five goals in his opening six Premier League games for the newly-promoted Cherries.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference today, Howe told reporters: "We are going to be a different team now without Callum, so it's up to us to adapt. Everyone must step up."

Summer signing Glenn Murray is likely to be the number-one choice in Wilson's absence up front and could make his first league start for the Cherries against Watford tomorrow.
