Eddie Howe hails "huge" Bournemouth victory

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe talks up the importance of his side's late 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has talked up the importance of his side's come-from-behind victory over West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

The Cherries fell behind against the Premier League's bottom club at the Vitality Stadium, but Jordon Ibe levelled things up 13 minutes from time before Junior Stanislas stole all three points for his side with an 89th-minute winner.

The victory takes Bournemouth up into the top half of the table with eight points now separating them from the relegation zone, but Howe admitted that his side were not at their best.

"It's the hardest way but I'll take any way at this stage of the season. We had to dig very deep but thankfully we got over the line," he told reporters.

"Today was huge. We knew how tough it was going to be. They have a lot of experience in there. We had to find a way to win without playing well."

Bournemouth's next match sees them take on Watford on March 31.
