Team News: Simon Francis returns for Bournemouth

Defender Simon Francis returns from suspension to feature in Bournemouth's fixture against Charlton Athletic.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has handed a recall to defender Simon Francis for his side's trip to Charlton Athletic.

Francis missed Monday's 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers through suspension, but he takes his place in the starting lineup ahead of Adam Smith.

Charlton boss Guy Luzon has made just one alteration to the team that fell to defeat at Birmingham City in their last match.

Midfielder Alou Diarra has been handed a start instead of Jordan Cousins, who has dropped out of the 18-man squad.

Charlton Athletic: Henderson, Solly, Fox, Johnson, Ben Haim, Gudmundsson, Diarra, Buyens, Bulot, Vetokele, Watt.
Subs: Etheridge, Gomez, Bikey-Amougou, Eagles, Wiggins, Church, Lennon

Bournemouth: Boruc, Francis, Elphick, Cook, Daniels, Ritchie, Surman, Arter, Pugh, Kermorgant, Wilson
Subs: Allsop, Ward, Smith, Gosling, Fraser, Pitman, Jones
