Team News: Adam Smith given Bournemouth nod by Eddie Howe

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe makes one enforced change to his starting XI as the Cherries look to effectively seal promotion to the Premier League.

Adam Smith has been chosen to take suspended right-back Simon Francis's place for Bournemouth in tonight's crucial Championship match against Bolton Wanderers.

Smith endured what he described as one of the worst moments of his career when he conceded a last-gasp penalty which gave Sheffield Wednesday a draw in the Cherries' last game.

However, Eddie Howe has put his faith in the defender and his inclusion is the only change to the hosts' lineup.

If Bournemouth win tonight, they will effectively secure promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history as their goal difference is so much better than that of third-placed Middlesbrough.

Visitors Bolton, meanwhile, have little to play for and make three changes to their side as they look to end a three-game winless streak.

Midfielders Barry Bannan, Neil Danns and Mark Davies all return, with Oscar Threlkeld, Paddy McCarthy and Giles Coke dropping out.

Bournemouth: Boruc; Smith, Elphick, Cook, Daniels; Ritchie, Surman, Arter, Pugh; Kermorgant, Wilson
Subs: Camp, Ward, Harte, Gosling, Fraser, Pitman, Jones

Bolton: Bogdan; Feeney, Ream, Dervite, Moxey; Walker, Bannan, Danns, M Davies; Heskey, Le Fondre
Subs: Lonergan, Gudjohnsen, Twardzik, Threlkeld, Coke, Taylor, Woolery
