Bournemouth will reportedly make a January bid for Napoli midfielder Jonathan de Guzman.
The 28-year-old Netherlands international was linked with a switch to the Cherries during the summer transfer window, although a move never materialised.
It is thought that Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn is keen to spend when the window reopens after seeing a number of key players struck down by long-term injuries.
Eddie Howe's men, who are playing in the top flight for the first time in their history this season, are currently 18th in the Premier League after winning just two of their 12 games so far this season.
According to La Gazetta dello Sport, former Swansea City man De Guzman is keen on a return to the Premier League after seeing first-team opportunities limited at Napoli, and the Italian club will not stand in his way if Bournemouth make an acceptable offer.
De Guzman, who has won 14 caps for the Netherlands, joined Napoli from Swansea in the summer of 2014.
