Neymar sits out Thursday training with Brazil first team

Brazil talisman Neymar was not involved in first-team training with the rest of Tite's squad at Tottenham Hotspur's facility in Enfield.

Neymar missed out on first-team training with Brazil on Thursday as the World Cup looms ever closer.

The forward suffered a sprained ankle and broken metatarsal playing for Paris Saint-Germain in February and missed the rest of the season.

Brazil's players have been put through their paces over the last few days by coach Tite at Tottenham Hotspur's facility in Enfield.

However, Neymar - who admitted last week that he is not yet 100% fit - was not involved on Thursday as he continues to step up his recovery from his foot injury.

Brazil play two friendlies, against Croatia and Switzerland, before beginning their World Cup campaign on June 17 against Costa Rica.
