Brentford manager Thomas Frank has hailed new signing Christian Eriksen as "world class."
The Bees were able to secure the former Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan attacking midfielder on a deal until the end of the season, which will be his first time playing since Euro 2020 when he suffered a cardiac arrest.
The 29-year-old has worked with Frank in the past, as he was a coach when Eriksen was playing for Denmark's Under-17 side, with this deal seeing them reunite.
"I am looking forward to working with Christian again. It has been a while since I last coached him, and a lot has happened since then," Frank told the club website.
"We have taken an unbelievable opportunity to bring a world-class player to Brentford. He has not trained with a team for seven months but has done a lot of work on his own."
Brentford will be back in action on Saturday when they face Everton in the FA Cup fourth round.
