Preview: Burnley vs. Wigan Athletic

Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Burnley and Wigan Athletic.

Burnley will secure promotion to the Premier League with a victory against Wigan Athletic in their Championship meeting on Easter Monday.

Even a defeat could see them return to the top flight if Derby fail to win their home game against lowly Barnsley.

Sean Dyche's men claimed a 1-0 victory over Blackpool on Good Friday, but have lost their previous two home games in the league.

The Clarets welcome a Wigan side who are fifth in the table and just two wins away from confirming their place in the playoffs.

Uwe Rosler's side bounced back from their FA Cup semi-final defeat against Arsenal, by cruising to a 3-0 win over Reading in their last match.

Sam Vokes is the only player missing for Burnley as he recovers from a cruciate ligament injury, while there are no fresh worries for the visitors.
