Burton Albion squeeze past Fleetwood Town

Billy Kee's strike puts Burton Albion through to the FA Cup third round at the expense of Fleetwood Town.

Burton Albion have squeezed past Fleetwood Town 1-0 in the FA Cup second round thanks to a goal from Billy Kee.

The striker scored the winner after 24 minutes when he latched onto a knockdown by Rene Howe to volley past Scott Davies in the Fleetwood goal.

Junior Brown almost equalised with a 30-yard volley, but the well-struck effort was held by Burton stopper Lynnes.

Gary Rowett's side will meet Bournemouth in the third round.
