Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Gareth Ainsworth up for League Two's Manager of the Month

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Gareth Ainsworth, David Flitcroft and Ronnie Moore are nominated for League Two's Manager of the Month for March.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Gareth Ainsworth are among a four-man shortlist nominated for League Two's Manager of the Month award for March.

Hasselbaink's impressive month included going top of the table with a comeback 2-1 victory for Burton Albion over Southend United after the team went down to 10 men.

From five games in March, Burton nabbed 13 points, while Ainsworth's Wycombe Wanderers side ended the month unbeaten in six games and seven points adrift of Hasselbaink's.

Bury boss David Flitcroft has also been nominated for the gong after witnessing his side keep three clean sheets in five games, which included four victories.

The Shakers are now four points off a top-three place, while at the other end of the table, Hartlepool United's Ronnie Moore has impressed by leading the team off bottom spot with four successive wins, during which just one goal was conceded.

The winner will be announced on Friday, April 10.
