Richard Money urges Cambridge United players to focus

Cambridge United manager Richard Money urges his players to concentrate on their upcoming league matches, rather than the FA Cup tie against Manchester United.

Richard Money has warned his Cambridge United players not to get too distracted by their upcoming FA Cup tie against Manchester United.

Prior to that encounter at the Abbey Stadium, the U's take on Carlisle United and Newport County in League Two.

Looking ahead to those two fixtures, Money has urged his team to treat them as they would the United game.

"Once you get the first 24 hours out of the way and all the hype of the draw, until the week of the game [against Manchester United] it's virtually on the backburner," he told the Cambridge Evening News.

"I know the club have a lot of work to do and there will be media commitments, but that's just part and parcel of the job. The two games coming up are crucial, and there's no better way to prepare for Man United than playing the next two games as though they are Man United."

Cambridge are currently 14th in the League Two standings.
