Cameroon secure World Cup place

Cameroon qualify for next year's World Cup in Brazil with a playoff victory over Tunisia.

Cameroon have qualified for next year's World Cup in Brazil with a playoff victory over Tunisia.

Volker Finke's side earned a 4-1 aggregate triumph over their opponents over two legs.

The teams drew 0-0 in Rades last month before the Cameroonians secured a 4-1 win in Yaounde on Sunday.

Former Aston Villa midfielder Jean Makoun netted twice for the hosts, while Pierre Webo and Benjamin Moudandjo also got on the scoresheet.

Cameroon have now qualified for six of the last seven World Cups.
