Cardiff City are reportedly close to completing the loan signing of Charlton Athletic forward Tony Watt.
Bluebirds boss Russell Slade has been on the lookout for striking options after being left short in attack.
Former Celtic ace Watt emerged as a target over the weekend and, according to Wales Online, a deal has essentially been completed bar the official confirmation.
It is suggested that the youngster, who famously struck against Barcelona in the Champions League three years ago, will remain in South Wales until the end of the campaign before a permanent deal is thrashed out.
Cardiff currently have Alex Revell, Eoin Doyle and Adam Le Fondre out on loan, while summer recruit Idriss Saadi picked up an injury on his debut that will likely keep him out until the new year.
