Celtic manager Neil Lennon has said that he would like his team to go the entire Scottish Premiership season unbeaten.

The league is the only competition that the Hoops have left to play for, after they exited the Champions League in the group phase and were knocked out of both domestic cups.

Lennon believes that Celtic, who have not lost any of their 24 league matches so far this campaign, should have the motivation to continue their unbeaten streak.

"The incentive now is to go unbeaten the rest of the season. That's the target for them and to win the championship with a bit of style," he told BT Sport.

"The cup was important to us because we were the holders but we can't dwell on it. We've had a brilliant season, with Champions League football as well.

"Some players are right at the top of their game. They have entertained all season, they have broken records and we want to finish the season in style rather than let it peter out."

Celtic, who have won their last 13 league games, host St Johnstone on Saturday.
