Stromsgodset have warned Celtic off trying to make Ronny Deila their new manager.
It was reported on Wednesday that the 38-year-old Norwegian is a leading candidate to replace Neil Lennon at Celtic Park.
However, Stromgodset's chairman has revealed that the club is eager to keep hold of the young coach.
"We are going to play in the Champions League and obviously we want to keep him," Tom Saxegaard is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"He's our manager and is under contract with us for two-and-a-half years. We really think he can get to the very top."
Celtic have been without a manager since Lennon resigned from his post on May 22.
