Celtic manager Ronny Deila has called on his players to get the defence of their Scottish Premiership title off to a positive start against St Johnstone.
The Hoops get their league campaign underway on Wednesday night when they make the trip to McDiarmid Park.
"We have to be up for the game and get our tempo up in the match so we can create more chances than we have done in the past two games," Deila is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"It's important to get off to a good start and it's good that we are getting started now. The league is very important as we can win titles and get the opportunity to play in Europe."
Celtic earned 10 points from a possible 12 against St Johnstone on their way to winning the title last season.
