Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Celtic could line up for Sunday's Scottish Premiership clash with champions Rangers.

Celtic's interim manager John Kennedy is unlikely to make too many changes to his starting lineup when they face Old Firm rivals Rangers in the Scottish Premiership at Parkhead on Sunday lunchtime.

Defender Christopher Jullien, who has suffered with a serious knee injury since September, is ruled out for the rest of this season but has recently posted some encouraging updates on social media about how well his recovery is progressing.

Left-back Greg Taylor has missed the last two matches after limping off in the defeat to Ross County with a muscle strain, and the 23-year-old remains doubtful for this weekend's fixture.

James Forrest made his first league appearance since mid-September in the draw at Dundee United and will be in contention to feature against the Gers, although the winger is unlikely to start the match.

Goalkeeper Scott Bain has cemented his place as Celtic's number one after starting each of the last 10 games ahead of Vasilios Barkas and Conor Hazard. The Scotsman did not feature in the previous two matches against Rangers this season, but he is expected to start on Sunday.

Striker Odsonne Edouard is set to start once again up front; the Frenchman has been directly involved in six goals in his four league appearances against the Gers at Celtic Park, scoring four and providing two assists.

Kennedy has started Patryk Klimala and Mohamed Elyounoussi in separate games alongside Edouard, and it remains to be seen which one will get the nod, with Leigh Griffiths and Albian Ajeti also pushing for a place up front.

Celtic possible starting lineup: Bain; Kenny, Welsh, Ajer, Laxalt; Brown; Turnbull, McGregor; Christie; Elyounoussi, Edouard
