Celtic assistant manager John Collins has claimed that Virgil van Dijk will be in the right state of mind to play against Malmo in their Champions League playoff second leg on Tuesday.
The centre-back has been linked with a move away from Celtic Park throughout the summer, with Southampton and Arsenal mooted as potential destinations.
Collins told BBC Sport: "Virgil's 100% ready to play the game, I have no doubt about that. I thought he was terrific last week in the first leg and I've no doubt he will be terrific tomorrow night as well.
"I'm hopeful he'll be here long term. The most important thing is he's going to be ready for tomorrow night. He's a huge player for us and he'll be ready."
Celtic have a narrow advantage going into the second leg, having secured a 3-2 win at Celtic Park.
