Charlton Athletic have sacked manager Bob Peeters, with the club citing a "downturn in results and performances" as reasoning behind the decision.

The Championship side have also terminated the contracts of coach Patrick Van Houdt and performance analyst Guy Kiala.

Peeters had originally signed a 12-month deal at The Valley in the summer of 2014, with Athletic currently sitting in 14th spot in the league standings.
