Tareiq Holmes-Dennis has agreed a new contract with Championship side Charlton Athletic.
The 19-year-old had been due to become a free agent at the end of the season when his previous deal was set to expire.
However, under the fresh terms, the defender has tied himself to The Valley until the summer of 2018.
Holmes-Dennis made his senior debut for the Addicks during the League Cup tie against Dagenham & Redbridge earlier this season.
News of his extension has come on the same day that left-back Morgan Fox signed a new 12-month deal with the club.
