David Luiz reveals that he was playing through a pain barrier during Chelsea's Champions League final win over Bayern Munich on Saturday.

Chelsea defender David Luiz has admitted that he was still struggling with injury two days before the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

The Brazilian centre-back started the clash along with Gary Cahill, who were both doubts for the final, but managed to complete a full 90 minutes as well as half an hour of extra time during the Blues' victory at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

"I was out for 35 days and I came back but, two days before the final, I had pain again in my leg and there was a chance that maybe I wasn't going to play," said Luiz.

"The day before, I had a test to see if I could play and then I ended up playing 120 minutes. It was a bad situation but I worked hard all of my life."

Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has suggested that he might leave Stamford Bridge this summer following a frustrating season.
