Bastian Schweinsteiger admits that the home-field advantage has given his side confidence ahead of the Champions League final.

Bastian Schweinsteiger has said that having the home-field advantage has given his side confidence ahead of the Champions League final.

Bayern Munich are unbeaten at home in the Champions League this season, and the German international insists that he and his teammates are focused on maintaining that record against Chelsea.

"I would be disappointed if we win nothing this season," he said. "But a number of teams would like to swap positions with us.

"We've delivered great performances in the Champions League at home, and that gives us confidence. We're focused on that.

"Luiz Gustavo has become important and we'll miss him, as we will Holger Badstuber and David Alaba, but we have different solutions. We'll see how it works out without them."

Schweinsteiger is all but certain to start against the Blues in Munich tonight.
