Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed that Romelu Lukaku will only be available "for the last minutes" at best against Juventus.
Lukaku has missed the last six matches due to an ankle injury sustained in the Champions League fixture with Malmo on October 20.
The Belgium international made his return to team training on Sunday as he bids to make a return against Juventus at Stamford Bridge.
However, despite acknowledging that the 28-year-old may be named in the squad, Tuchel ruled out a start for the summer arrival.
Speaking to reporters, Tuchel said: "Not sure yet. We have one more training. Yesterday, he was in team training and seemed okay, but let's see about the reaction.
"We have a chance to name 20 players in the squad. Maybe he is in the squad for the last minutes. That is the absolute maximum that we can get out of the situation right now."
Chelsea head into the contest in West London sitting three points adrift their opponents in the group.
