Gary Cahill has insisted that his absence from England training today is nothing serious and that he will be fully fit to face Slovenia later this week.

The Chelsea defender was one of five players to sit out training today, but he is certain that he will be ready for Saturday's qualifier at Wembley.

"It's just a minor hip thing," he told Sky Sports News. "It's no problem. I should be training tomorrow, hopefully, and then ready to go and prepare for the weekend."

England have won all three of their Group E games so far to top the group and are also on a run of five clean sheets.
