Thursday's FA Cup predictions including Barnsley vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Thursday's FA Cup fixtures - Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Southampton and Barnsley vs. Chelsea.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton meet in the FA Cup fifth round on Thursday evening looking to improve on their recent form in the Premier League.

While Wolves have recorded just five points from six matches in the top flight, the Saints have lost five successive league fixtures.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-2 Southampton

With both managers expected to make changes ahead of their league encounter at the weekend, we expect a relatively open game at Molineux. That is more likely to play into the hands of the expansive visitors, whose extra fluidity in attack could make the difference.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Barnsley vs. Chelsea (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Chelsea will be looking to maintain their positive start to life under Thomas Tuchel when they take on Barnsley in the FA Cup last 16 on Thursday evening.

The Blues travel to Oakwell on the back of three wins and a draw since Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard, while Barnsley are unbeaten in three Championship outings.

We say: Barnsley 0-2 Chelsea

Chelsea have been in good form over the past few weeks, winning four and drawing one of their last five matches.

Tuchel is expected to make changes to his starting lineup on Thursday, but whatever side he fields should have enough strength to see off Barnsley.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
