David Luiz is stretchered from the field of play with a suspected leg injury during Chelsea's FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea defender David Luiz could be facing a spell on the sidelines after he was stretchered off during his side's FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur this evening.

The Brazilian defender appeared to suffer a leg injury as he attempted to challenge Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Togo international went on to round Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech and score, while Luiz landed awkwardly and was unable to walk off the pitch.

Luiz's potential absence has come at a time when Chelsea are due to take on Barcelona in the Champions League later this week.
