Manchester City play host to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon looking to ensure that they end the weekend at the top of the Premier League standings.
The defending champions registered a 2-0 win at Everton in midweek in order to move ahead of Liverpool on goal difference, although Liverpool have the opportunity to regain first place with a positive result against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
David Silva has been a key man for City since his arrival at the Etihad Stadium in 2010, and the Spanish playmaker could have a major part to play in the showdown in the North-West of England.
Ahead of this weekend's meeting, Sports Mole assesses how Silva has fared in his previous outings against the West Londoners.
Silva is familiar with Chelsea, having played in a total of 22 games against the Blues while representing Valencia and City.
Eight wins have been recorded since his first outing in 2007, but they have all come for City with Valencia only recording two draws and two defeats.
The 33-year-old has netted just twice against Chelsea and just once in a City shirt, although seven assists have come during the same period.
Silva's most memorable outing versus Chelsea came at the start of the 2015-16 campaign as the playmaker set up two goals in a 3-0 triumph at the Etihad Stadium.
The veteran has featured on the losing side on nine occasions.
