How Chelsea could line up against Wolverhampton Wanderers

Ahead of Wednesday's Premier League clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Chelsea, Sports Mole looks at how Maurizio Sarri's side could line up at Molineux.

Chelsea make the trip to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers having returned to winning ways in the Premier League with victory over Fulham.

The Blues had under-performed in their previous fixture against Tottenham Hotspur, but goals from Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek secured all three points against the Cottagers.

Maurizio Sarri's side now sit in third place in the standings, although they hold just a one-point advantage over London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Italian has a number of selection dilemmas ahead of Wednesday's game, and here Sports Mole looks at how his team could line up in the West Midlands.

Doubtful: Victor Moses (back), Ross Barkley (ankle)

Sarri could make a change to his midfield, with Ross Barkley and Loftus-Cheek both in contention to replace Mateo Kovacic in the centre of the pitch.

Barkley is expected to have recovered from the ankle knock which kept him out of the clash with Fulham, while Loftus-Cheek is still waiting for his first Premier League start of the season.

Willian remained as an unused substitute at the weekend, but the Brazilian is likely to be preferred to Pedro for Wednesday's match.

Olivier Giroud may keep his place in attack, although Sarri will also have one eye on the visit of Manchester City at the weekend.

That could potentially lead to Davide Zappacosta and Andreas Christensen coming into contention for a starting role.
