Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has insisted that he and his teammates are determined to continue their unbeaten run in the Premier League.
Jose Mourinho's side grabbed their 10th victory of the league campaign by securing a 2-0 triumph over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
After 12 matches, the West London outfit have snatched 32 points and sit at the top of the league table with a seven-point lead.
"We realise the fact we're not even halfway through the season yet, we're probably a third of the way through - that's what keeps the determination there to keep getting results," Cahill told the club's official website.
"We've started really well. We've kept the momentum going and the good feeling of winning games. There's a long way to go but we would rather be where we are now than where we were this time last season.
"Now we've got a huge amount of fixtures coming up. It's a testing part of the season but one we're ready for and one we've done many times before. We want to keep going in this vein."
This week, Chelsea turn their attention to the Champions League as they prepare to take on Roberto Di Matteo's Schalke 04.
