Chelsea defender Gary Cahill says that he is enjoying playing in Antonio Conte's 3-4-3 formation, with the Blues now having won six games in a row without conceding.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has said that he is enjoying playing in Antonio Conte's 3-4-3 system.

The Chelsea boss switched to the formation following his side's 3-0 defeat to London rivals Arsenal at the end of September, and Chelsea are yet to drop a point or even concede a goal in the six matches since.

The Blues have climbed to the top of the Premier League table as a result, and Cahill believes that the team's form is a result of their hard work on the training ground paying off.

"It's a system we're enjoying very much at the minute because it's going really well. It hasn't been a situation when we had a disappointing result at Arsenal, and suddenly changed the formation. We've trained exactly the same and it's taken a lot of work on the training ground to learn it," he told talkSPORT.

"We had the full week before we played Hull. I think elements in the first half at Hull, there was a bit of uncertainty, but in the second half we got into it. We ended up winning the game and dominating the second half.

"Since then, we've really worked hard on it. It's not been luck, it's been a case of the players buying into it and doing a bit of classroom work on the training ground and doing what the manager wants – because he's been very successful with this formation."

Chelsea will look to make it seven wins on the bounce in another London derby against unbeaten Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
