Roberto Di Matteo insists that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich visits the club's training ground regularly following reports that he grilled the team following their European collapse.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has attempted to ease pressure on his position at the club by claiming that Blues owner Roman Abramovich visits the players and coaching staff on a regular basis.

Reports emerged this morning claiming that the Russian billionaire had demanded answers after the West London club relinquished a two-goal lead over Juventus to draw 2-2 in the Champions League earlier this week.

"He comes quite often, to be honest," said Di Matteo. "He likes to be involved and comes down whenever he can. He is the owner and likes to know what is going on and speak to people.

"We weren't happy about the result we got so it wasn't a perfectly happy camp, but will we have to pick ourselves up and win in the Premier League.

"At a big club you are always under pressure and have to win games and in the right manner as well. That is part of being a big club and nothing different with us."

Meanwhile, the Blues will switch their attention back to the Premier League this weekend when they take on Stoke City tomorrow.
