Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has insisted that he has a "very good" relationship with teammate and fellow shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Kepa has come under increased scrutiny for his performances in a Chelsea shirt as of late and is facing an uphill battle to regain his status as Frank Lampard's number one, with Mendy arriving from Rennes in the summer.
With the two shot-stoppers battling for supremacy at Stamford Bridge, Mendy has affirmed that all of the goalkeepers at Chelsea get on well and are focused on what is best for the team.
"I have a very good relationship with Kepa," Mendy said in quotes attributed to Metro. "The group of goalkeepers we have, we're all very open and all of us understand the team is the most important thing here and doing what is right for the group.
"Our relationships are all very good, we work well together and we're pushing each other every day to improve ourselves and improve each other.
"We know as goalkeepers we have to stay unified and united and that is what is happening at the moment."
Chelsea's goalkeeping roster also includes veterans Willy Caballero and Petr Cech, the latter of whom has been included as an emergency backup in Lampard's squad.
