Ferdinand to refuse Terry handshake?

Anton Ferdinand reportedly informs Queens Park Rangers that he has no intentions of shaking hands with John Terry before this weekend's match.

Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand is reportedly expected to snub John Terry's hand during this weekend's pre-match ritual due to the criminal trial the Chelsea captain faces this summer.

The former England captain will stand before a court on July 9 on allegations of racial abuse towards Ferdinand during a West London derby last October.

While the regular handshakes are due to go ahead for this Sunday's match at Stamford Bridge, it is understood that Ferdinand has told manager Mark Hughes that he intends to refuse Terry's hand, according to The Telegraph.

Reports have suggested that Hughes and chief executive Phil Beard are trying to decide what action to take after the centre-back's admission.
