Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck and director Marina Granovskaia are reportedly expected to depart Chelsea once Roman Abramovich sells the Premier League club.

Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck and director Marina Granovskaia are reportedly not expected to remain at Chelsea once Roman Abramovich has sold the club.

On Wednesday evening, Abramovich confirmed growing speculation that he was to sell the Premier League outfit, a direct consequence of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

As it stands, multiple potential buyers have been linked with acquiring Chelsea, leaving the club's short and long term future in considerable doubt.

Nevertheless, according to Marca, Buck and Granovskaia are unlikely to remain in their current roles of chairman and director.

The report suggests that they are expected to move on to pastures new once a new buyer can be found, although it is unclear when an agreement will be reached.

If reports are to be believed, Abramovich could demand anywhere between £3bn and £4bn, restricting the amount of realistic contenders for the role of new owner.
