Erling Braut Haaland picks Frank Lampard as retired player he most wants to play with

Legendary Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is selected by Erling Braut Haaland as the retired midfielder that he would most like to play in the same side as.

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland has picked Chelsea boss Frank Lampard as the retired player that he would most like to play with.

The 19-year-old has cemented his status as the hottest teenage talent in world football since joining Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in January.

Haaland has a combined 40 goals in 2019-20, 12 of those coming in his first 11 appearances for BVB, where he remains under contract until 2024.

Chelsea are one of a number of teams have been tipped to move for Haaland in the summer, and the Norway international got Blues fans excited with one of his answers during an Instagram Q&A with ESPN.

Asked which retired player he would most like to play in the same side as, the youngster replied: "Frank Lampard".

Alf-Inge Haaland confirmed earlier this season that his son would like to one day play in the Premier League.
