Hakim Ziyech has admitted that he is open to a return to Ajax at some stage in his career.

Hakim Ziyech has admitted that he is open to returning to Ajax at some stage before he retires from football.

The Morrocan international left the Dutch club in order to sign for Chelsea but he only made 15 starts for the Blues last season due to injuries and competition.

So far in the 2021-22 campaign, the winger has also dealt with fitness problems, having played eight times in the Premier League where he has contributed one goal.

"I would love to. I had a fantastic time there.

'It is a place where I have felt at home, and whether it will ever happen, the future will tell. If it is up to me, it will definitely happen," he said to Ziggo Sport.

Ziyech currently has three years left on his contract with Chelsea, who will play Leeds United this weekend in the Premier League.
