Guus Hiddink admits Chelsea got "complacent"

Complacency crept in during Chelsea's 2-1 victory away at Norwich City, according to interim manager Guus Hiddink.

Guus Hiddink has conceded that his Chelsea side allowed themselves to become "complacent" during their 2-1 win away at Norwich City tonight.

The Blues appeared to be cruising to the three points thanks to first-half goals from Kenedy and Diego Costa.

However, Nathan Redmond reduced the arrears in the second half and Norwich pushed hard for an equalising goal in the closing stages.

"We didn't want to go into the battle but they forced us into it. We could have finished it off earlier in the first half. We were a little bit complacent," Hiddink told Sky Sports News.

The result means that Chelsea are still unbeaten in the Premier League since the Dutchman took interim charge in December.
