Chelsea are reportedly set to hand Callum Hudson-Odoi a new five-year contract before reintroducing the attacker into the first team next month following a spell on the sidelines.
Hudson-Odoi is yet to feature for the Blues this season due to an Achilles injury, but the England international has recently returned to first-team training with Frank Lampard's side.
According to the Daily Mail, the plan is for Hudson-Odoi to return to the field after the September international break, by which point the attacker should have officially penned a new five-year deal.
The 18-year-old scored five times and registered five assists in 24 appearances for Chelsea during the 2018-19 campaign despite the speculation surrounding his future.
Bayern Munich had been strongly linked with a move for the teenager, who will see his existing contract at Stamford Bridge expire at the end of the 2019-20 season.
Hudson-Odoi, who could earn as much as £180,000 a week under the terms of his new deal, has been with the Blues since the age of six.
