Mark Hughes hopeful ahead of Stoke City's clash with Chelsea

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes suggests that his side can still get something from their upcoming game with Chelsea despite the quality in Jose Mourinho's squad.

Stoke City coach Mark Hughes has suggested that his side could get something from their clash with Chelsea this weekend, given that Jose Mourinho's men will look to take chances against his team.

The Blues travel to the Britannia Stadium on Monday night as they look to build from their recent victory over Hull City, but Hughes has said that the Potteries still have a chance despite the quality in Mourinho's squad.

"When we go up against so called bigger teams who are prepared to take chances against us, we have been able to exploit them. We have found it difficult against teams who come here and sit back," said Hughes, according to BBC Sport.

"My view is that they are the top team in the league at the moment. I think their mentality is strong and they have outstanding ability. They believe in themselves."

Stoke currently hold 12th position in the Premier League table on 19 points.
