Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata has revealed that he is in love with life in London after a successful start to his Blues career.

Despite Andre Villas-Boas's side currently struggling for form in fifth place in the table, Mata admits that he is enjoying his surroundings following his £23.5m move from Spanish club Valencia in the summer.

The 23-year-old told The Sun: "London is very big, more than Madrid, Valencia or Oviedo, and there are many more things to do.

"The city is spectacular and I'm loving it. Every day off I walk around getting to know different areas."
