Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho warns his players that he will not make life easy for them next season.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has warned his players that he will not make life easy for them next season.

The Portuguese boss returned to Stamford Bridge for a second spell last month following his initial departure in 2007.

"I am not the kind of guy that makes life easy for the great players," he told Chelsea's official website.

"If they are great they have to give more than the others, if they are great they cannot be happy with a few great things that they do."

Chelsea start the season at home to Hull City on August 18.
