Jose Mourinho has finally confirmed that he expects to be appointed as Chelsea manager for the second time by the end of this week.
The Portuguese coach finished a three-year spell as Real Madrid boss last weekend and was spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport yesterday afternoon.
With betting suspended over a reunion with the Blues, Mourinho finally broke his silence to reveal that he plans to take over at Stamford Bridge later this week.
He told Spanish football show Punto Pelota yesterday: "I'm going to London on Monday and at the end of the week I will be the manager of Chelsea.
"I feel the people there love me and in life you have to look for that. Life is beautiful and short and you must look for what you think is best for you."
Mourinho won the Premier League title twice during his first stint in West London, which ended just one month into his fourth season in charge.
