Chelsea's Jose Mourinho sends out Juan Mata warning

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists that Juan Mata will need to change his style of play to feature in the team on a regular basis.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has warned Juan Mata that he will have to adapt to his style of football if he wants to play regularly.

The Spain international midfielder was left out of the Blues squad for their 2-0 home win against Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.

"I want to play Mata and Oscar, but Juan has to work and adapt to a certain style of play because I'm not ready to change Oscar's position," Mourinho told Sky Sports News. "Juan has to learn to play the way I want to play, be more consistent."

Mata has started two Premier League games so far this season.
