Jose Mourinho still playing down Chelsea's title chances

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists once again that his side are outsiders for the Premier League title.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has once again played down his side's Premier League title chances.

Despite going top after Saturday's 3-0 win against Newcastle United, the Portuguese coach has reiterated his belief that other teams are better placed to win the league this season.

He told reporters: "We are in the race yes, we have been from the start like all the other teams.

"Other teams are in a better condition than us though. All four (Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool) can win the league this season."

Mourinho's men visit West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday.
