Jose Mourinho talks up unpredictable Premier League

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho talks up the "fantastic" unpredictability of the Premier League.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has talked up the "fantastic" unpredictability of the Premier League.

After watching his side beat Crystal Palace 2-1 on Saturday, the Portuguese coach claimed that the battle to avoid relegation and the chase for the title will not be settled until the very end of the campaign.

"This Premier League is fantastic for everybody," Mourinho told BBC Sport.

"We are going to be in April and we won't know who is going to be champions, and we won't know who will be relegated. It is fantastic for the fans, but maybe not for us as managers.

"I prefer to win 4-0 but this Chelsea team is different [to the 2004 one]. I enjoy the transition we are going through. I know when I watch my team I am not watching a mature team that is the finished product."

The Blues are up to second in the Premier League following the win over Palace.
