Preview: Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole looks ahead to Saturday's Premier League clash between Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

Chelsea will be looking to move into second place in the Premier League for 24 hours at least when they welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues are currently third in the league table with 30 points from 15 matches, level on points with second-placed Liverpool and five behind leaders Arsenal.

Jose Mourinho's side will head into the clash on the back of a 1-0 victory over Steaua Bucuresti in the Champions League, but they will be aiming to bounce back from last weekend's 3-2 away loss to Stoke City.

The London outfit have yet to suffer a defeat at home in the league, while their opponents on Saturday, Palace, have won just once away, losing six on their travels and conceding 12 goals in the process.

Tony Pulis's Palace, though, are on a high after recording back-to-back Premier League victories over West Ham United and Cardiff City.

The Eagles will also been boosted by the return of midfielder Yannick Bolasie from suspension, while Fernando Torres is likely to get the nod ahead of Demba Ba in the starting lineup for Chelsea.
