Kurt Zouma: 'Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho best in the world'

Jose Mourinho remains the best manager in world football despite Chelsea's inauspicious start to the 2015-16 Premier League season, according to Kurt Zouma.

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has claimed that Jose Mourinho remains the world's finest manager in his eyes despite the Blues' sluggish start to their Premier League title defence.

Mourinho's men had to score twice in the final 11 minutes to earn a 2-2 draw at winless Newcastle United on Saturday in a result that left them 15th in the table, eight points behind Manchester United at the summit.

Zouma was partially at fault for the Magpies' opener through Ayoze Perez, and the 20-year-old admits that he does not like disappointing the Portuguese, whom he claims is second to none in management.

"Mourinho? When he's not happy he shouts a lot. He has taught me a lot. He does not like losing and expects a lot from me," the Frenchman told Telefoot.

"Last year he spoke to me a lot about [Real Madrid centre-back] Raph [Varane]. He told me I was making the same mistakes as him.

"For me, he is the best coach in the world."

Chelsea have already dropped 13 points this season, having lost three times.
